Meet Our Youth Staff!

We believe that students need and want to have significant relationships with adults who love God and students and can be spiritual examples to them.  We have an awesome group of adults that work with the students of Rock Solid every week.  We are so blessed to have the quality of adults that we do.  We love our Youth Staff!

Pastor Kory and Rhonda

Kory and Rhonda have been serving at Rock Solid for over 5 years.  They love students (even when they are awakened to the sound of toilet paper rolls landing on their roof) and love serving at Tehachapi Nazarene Church.  Rhonda loves leading music with the Student Worship Band and hanging out with the girls at a Serendipity.  Kory and Rhonda have a 1 ½ year old son Aaron and another boy on the way.  They serve as small group leaders for the high school ministry, they teach for the junior high and high school ministry and Rhonda plays on the Student Worship Band.

Sean and Jenn Clifton

Sean and Jenn have been serving at Rock Solid for the past 3 years.  Jenn grew up in Tehachapi and met Sean in college down in San Diego.  Sean teaches math at Arvin High School while Jenn works at Golden Hills Elementary.  They both love to worship and occasionally serve on the church Worship Team.  Sean and Jenn have a son, Matthew, who is almost a year old. 
Sean and Jenn serve on Wednesday nights as teachers and small group leaders for the junior high.

Loree Gracey

Loree Gracey is no new comer to Tehachapi.  She has lived here for many years and is now back after living near family in Arizona for a while.  Loree loves junior high students!  Just ask her!  She is called to work with these students and the students love her.  Loree works at the Veterinary Clinic here in town and loves animals.  Her great loves are God and her grandchildren. 
She teaches the Sunday morning junior high Bible study.

Dave and Eva Hebebrand

This is Dave and Eva’s second year serving with Rock Solid.  The Hebebrand’s moved from Porterville a few years ago and now are a vital part of the ministry here.  Dave is a CPA both here in Tehachapi and in Porterville.  Eva recently took a position in Bakersfield. 
Along with the full time job of being Cory’s parents (we love you Cory) they serve as small group leaders for the high school ministry on Sunday mornings.

Terry and Deanna Lemen

Terry and Deanna have been working with students for many, many years.  Deanna was a worker with the children’s ministry for a long time but we stole her away!  She and Terry have four grown children who have all gone through the youth ministry of TNC.  Terry works for the school district here in Tehachapi while Deanna works for a company in town.  If you are looking for excitement,
ask to ride their zip line! 
Terry and Deanna serve as small group leaders for the high school ministry on Sunday mornings.

Lora Minton

This is Lora’s second year with Rock Solid.  She is an awesome woman of God who is a great asset to the ministry here.  Lora and her husband’s four children are all grown and on their own.  Lora is a 6th grade teacher at JMS. 
She is a prayer group leader for the high school ministry on Tuesday nights, a Sunday morning greeter, and a member of TNC’s Prayer Team.

Mark Taberner

Mark has been working with Rock Solid officially for two years.  Before that, he was working with our summer program helping to lead Surf Camp and outreach trips.  Mark works out at Edwards Air Force Base but you will have to ask him what he does (it’s technical).  Mark and his wife have two children. 
Mark teaches on Tuesday nights for the high school, leads a prayer group for the high school ministry and gives direction to the Student Worship Band.
